Don’t Use This Historically Lame Reason for Speeding One Silly Driver Did
This speeding driver tried to pull a fast one.
A motorist in Australia pulled over for speeding tried to blame his lead foot on a most unlikely source when he told the officer who pulled him over "the wind was pushing me."
The police department was so amused by the excuse it had to just mock him by posting a copy of the ticket on Twitter.
It's the worst excuse since "my dog ate my homework." The man, who was going 10 miles over the speed limit, will now have to pay a $150 fine, although we can't help but think he's already cooking up some absurd reason for why he can't cough up the money.
There is no shortage of reasons for why we speed, but this one may take the cake. Come to think of it, "I have to take the cake" somewhere may be one of the few that can top this.
