Texas Tech Theater Presents a Risqué Production for a Cause

The Tech Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance will be presenting the “Vagina Monologues” for the 10^th year. The production will be held February 9th through the 11th at the Escondido theater at the Student Union Building.

From Texas Tech about the show:

“The Vagina Monologues is a set of different monologues written by Eve Ensler based on interviews with real women of all backgrounds, each dealing with the aspect of the feminine experience. These monologues touch on female experience with sex, love, rape, menstruation, common names for vagina, etc. with the overlying theme of the vagina being a tool of female empowerment.”

All monies raised from the production will benefit Lubbock Women’s Protective Services. Admission is $5 and all are welcome. And of course, this is an 18+ show since it deals with mature topics.
