It’s Buck-a-Ride Night at the South Plains Fair
I drove by the South Plains Fair yesterday, and the midway looks stacked, packed and ready to go.
It looks like a good year to visit the fair and not much could be better than Buck-a-Ride night (except for the upcoming Skid Row show).
Tonight (Thursday, September 19th, 2019), all the rides are just a buck, but keep in mind that tickets are sold in blocks of 10, so you and/or your friends need to pitch in to get a whole sheet. There's also no admission or parking fee tonight. (Normally, admission to the fair is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 2-12. It's also VERY IMPORTANT to note that both admission and parking are CASH ONLY).
It looks like the rides start up at about 3 p.m. today and the fair stays open until 11 p.m. so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy everything.
Here's a quick look at other special deals going on at this year's South Plains Fair:
Sunday, September 22nd: Family Day: Kids 17 and under admitted free before 9 p.m.
Tuesday, September 24th: Senior Citizen’s Day: Persons 60 years of age or older get in the gate for $5.
$2 Tuesday: Sheets of 10 Tickets for $10 will be sold and each ride is $2 a piece ($10 minimum purchase).
Thursday, September 26th: Wristband Day: $40 Wristband to ride unlimited rides from 3 - 11 p.m.
