26 People Were Arrested in Lubbock on Sept. 19th, Many With Multiple Charges

This week has just started and we're already getting crazy. The South Plains Fair is coming to town this Friday, Texas Tech plays the University of Texas this Saturday, and today is Taco Tuesday. Today feels like this power pumping build up to just a phenomenal week as we creep closer to all these events.

I live right across from another farmer in Lubbock County who actually owns longhorns, and let me tell you that compared to other cattle I have seen growing up that these longhorns take the cake. I've always wanted the fair to have a longhorn show along with the cattle show, but maybe these Texas-sized bovine are just too much to handle. I go for the food of course, but I do have to eat healthy food all week leading up to the fried, greasy, yummy fair food.

I do suggest taking a break from that pre-fair health eating kick and encourage you go out for some tacos. I do recommend the tacos al pastor and carnitas tacos from Red Raider Burrito on 19th Street just right across from Lubbock High School. While you're washing those tacos down with a pineapple agua fresca, don't forget the napkins because today's Lubbock lunchtime mugshots have some lengthy charges attached.

These 26 mugshots are of people who were arrested on Monday September 19th, 2022 and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. All people featured are innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with a crime.
