Anime Lubbock 2024: Special Guests, Activities, & More

Anime Lubbock is officially making its return in 2024 as Lubbock anime lovers’ favorite hotel convention. 

It is a con made ‘by weebs for weebs’ and features a variety of special guests, panels, activities, and more. Being a hotel convention, it is unique from other Lubbock cons. You can stay at the hotel for the weekend, experience late-night events, and not have to worry about driving to and from the event each day.

Some of their special events and activities include a Maid Café, Cosplay Photo Room, Halcyon Arena, the Chill Zone with themed drinks, and more.  

Each year also always features a cosplay contest, anime rave, quiet room, vendor hall, local artists, musical performances, and a variety of panels with different themes and entertainment. They have not released the official panel schedule yet for 2024, but previous panels included topics like cosplaying on a budget, origami, special guest Q&As, Idol workshops, and more.  

This year’s special guests include voice actors from Overlord, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Akame ga Kill, One Piece, Chainsaw Man, Fairy Tail, and more. You will be able to meet these guests, get signed merch, and take photos with them based on their individual pricing.  

Anime Lubbock 2024 will be hosted at the MCM Elegante from February 2nd through February 4th. Ticket information is currently available at animelubbock.com along with information on how to book a discounted room along with your membership.
