Another weekend is here in Lubbock. With decent weather and friends to spend time with, there is no reason to not get out of the house and enjoy some time with the people you love hanging out with.

If you aren’t sure where to get started, this article is for you. I will talk about a couple different events happening in Lubbock this weekend, and a new version of these last-minute plans will be available every Friday.

The Summer Market by The Lubbock Artisan Collective

The Lubbock Artisan Collective is hosting a Summer Market on Saturday, July 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

There will be live music, activities for the whole family, local vendors, artists, food trucks, and more. It will take place at 6501 University Ave, and there are also tickets available for an Early Access Event on Friday, July 26th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Deadpool & Wolverine Movie Events

The new ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ movie premier is this week and there are a variety of local events you can check out to celebrate.

Premiere Cinemas LUX 16 IMAX is hosting their own special pop-up event from July 26th to 27th. This event is partnering with Lubbock-Con to bring local vendors and artists with a variety of Deadpool and Wolverine goodies. There will also be a friendship bracelet making station, local cosplayers, and some special drinks.

Alamo Drafthouse is also hosting a special premier event from July 25th to 27th with a variety of goodies including toys, comics, graphic novels, and prints from Error 3 Prints. Of course, Alamo is a movie and dining experience, so I am anticipating that there will potentially be some limited-edition menu items as well.
