As the spring weather continues to grace Lubbock, there is so much to get out and do. So, grab your friends and family, and get out to some of these great events happening around town.

Friday:

This Friday, April 21, has two big options depending on if you are a sports or music fan.

Music fans will want to head over to the Buddy Holly Hall for Buffalo Grass Fest. This is the second year they have done this event and it will feature live music performances, workshops, and Rick Beato as a guest speaker.

Sports fans will want to check out the Texas Tech versus Baylor Baseball game. It will be at 6:30 Friday night at the Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

Saturday:

Saturday is where all the major fun is with a variety of events happening all day long.

The morning activities include the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum hosting a plant sale from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The National Ranching Heritage Center is hosting Ranch Day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. And there is a Run S’More 5K and Kid’s Mile starting at 9:00 a.m.

Some of the afternoon and evening events include the Texas Wine, Hops & Shops event at McPherson Cellars. There is a Walk to Fight Suicide hosted by Lubbock ISD at Chapman Field from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. You can also check out Business Over Brunch at Lee’s Café from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Or, learn to salsa dance at the YWCA Sun ‘n Fun with Social Dance Lubbock.

Sunday:

Ringtail Ranch is hosting a Zoo Crew Encounter this Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
