Balls Out Funny: The Roast of The Rock Show

Lubbock’s favorite morning radio show, The Rock Show, on 94.5 FMX is hosting a comedy night for a cause. There will be a variety of local comedians featured and a roast of The Rock Show with both Wes and Chrissy there to participate in the fun.

Tickets are $15 and all proceeds go to neutering stray cats in Lubbock. It will start at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9th at Jake’s Backroom, so bring your friends, grab a drink, and have some fun.

Galapalooza

Another great comedy event is happening this Saturday, August 10th at Mano Negra Brewing Co. At 8:00 p.m. This show also features Chrissy Covington along with other amazing female comedians including the host Selena, Tori Forney, Adrienne Green, and headliner Stephanie ‘Shonuf’ Spencer. Seating is limited, first come first served.

Havana Nights

Also on Friday, August 9th, English Newsom Cellars is hosting an evening of salsa dancing, Cuban food, great music, and plenty of fun. This event will start at 7:00 p.m. and is a ticketed event.
