Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Meditation, Butterflies, and More
We are back with another set of last-minute plans here in the Hub City. Whether you want to learn something new, have a fun night out, or experience something you never have before, there is a little something for everyone this weekend.
Friday:
Starting with Friday, March 10th, there are a few different entertainment options.
Gary Nix & West Texas Band will be performing at the Sanctuary Bar &Café starting at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a performance at the Pecan Grill at the Overton Hotel with Danny Cadra at the same time. Lastly, Jesse Day & The Texas Knights will be performing at Back 40 Grill at 8:00.
If none of those tickle your fancy, you can also head over to Parry’s Pizza & Taphouse for Pint Night, featuring Two Docs Brewing Co. That event starts at 5:00, so you can grab some grub and a cold beer right after work. Or you can catch the Lubbock Community Theatre’s performance of A Little Magic at 7:30. Or Wine-O-Bingo at English Newsom Cellars.
Finally, if you are feeling artsy, you can catch the plaster casting event held at the Buddy Holly Center. This is a free event from 5:30 to 8:30 for Plaster projects with Miss Megan’s Make Room.
Saturday:
This Saturday kicks off the Butterflies Alive! Exhibit at the Science Spectrum. It starts March 11th, at 10 a.m., and goes through June 25th, 2023. This is a great exhibit for the whole family, and you get to see a variety of real butterflies!
