This weekend should be beautiful as it finally starts to feel like spring in Lubbock. Easter is also on the way, so there are plenty of fun Easter events to enjoy this weekend. Let’s take a deeper look at what Lubbock has to offer this weekend, March 31 to April 1, 2023.

Friday:

This Friday and Saturday, you can enjoy the nice weather at Adventure Park’s Party on the Patio, or you can had to your favorite restaurant or bar patio for some grub. You can also check out Jesse Day & The Texas Knights at the Silver Bullet.

If you want more of a calm evening, you can head to the Buddy Holly Hall to see Mozart’s Don Giovanni presented by the TTU Opera Theater or No room for a Picture on a Blank Wall at the Lubbock Community Theater.

Saturday:

This Saturday is full of Easter events for any age and even your dog.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt at Safety City, an Easter Bunny Car Hop at Mae Simmons Community Center, and a Bunny Brunch at Rawlings Community Center. You can also head to McAlister Dog Park from 11:00 to 1:00 for an Easter Pups event that will have photos with the Easter Bunny, a pet-themed egg hunt, pet microchipping, and local pet businesses.

Non-Easter related events include the Wolfforth Farmers Market, and LBK Uncorked 2023, a wine vent held at the American Windmill Museum. I also suggest simply spending some quality time outside and enjoying the nice weather with some friends and family.
