Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Coffee and Cars, Art Trail, and More
Another weekend, another chance to make some last-minute plans. Let’s jump straight in!
Friday:
This Friday is the first one of the month, which means the First Friday Art Trail is back at it again. They will have all of your classic art trail spots to check out, including a new addition to the official First Friday trail. Rock, Paper, Shears is a salon and gallery located downtown that has been hosting First Friday events on their own but has now officially been added to the FFAT map.
You can also catch the new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse premiere or a double feature of the new live-action The Little Mermaid movie and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. If movies aren’t your thing, you can check out Adventure Park’s Party on the Patio or live music at a variety of locations including Pecan Grill at the Overton Hotel, Sanctuary Bar and Grill, and more.
Saturday:
This Saturday has some great hands-on events including DIY Saturday at Lubbock Habitat for Humanity, Living History at the National Ranching Heritage Center, and Build-A-Pot at Little Rd Riding Hood Nursery.
Coffee and Cars is taking place at Cook's Garage starting at 8:00 a.m. You can also check out the Lubbock Downtown Farmer’s Market at their new location near LHUCA, or the Wolfforth Farmers Market in the same place as usual.
Sunday:
This Sunday has a couple of great events in the books. On is the National Puerto Rican Festival at Cactus Alley Courtyard, Peddler Market Days at Prairie Blossom Marketplace, and Dog Days of Summer at Little Woodrow’s.
