Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Arts Festival, Tour of Homes, and More
It officially feels like spring in the Hub City, and everyone is looking to get out of their homes and spend some time with their friends and family. Thankfully, there is plenty to do in Lubbock. So, let’s take a look at what there is to do in town this weekend.
Friday:
Friday night is relatively chill with just a few things going on. You can hang out on the patio of your favorite restaurant to enjoy the lovely weather, and then head to one of there shows.
The Cats Playhouse is showing Bakerville from 7:30 to 9:30. Or, you can head to the Buddy holly Hall for CLICK: a Live Music & Dance Experience.
Saturday:
Saturday has much more going on with a variety of themes.
The Lubbock Arts Festival is taking place at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on both Saturday and Sunday. The LMGA Annual Plant Sale will be at the Hodges Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Or you can bring your kids to the Junior League of Lubbock Touch a Truck event at the South Plains Mall.
There is also Raider Robotics Day starting at 8:00 a.m., the 2023 Spring Tour of Homes at 1:00 p.m., and a Salsa Dance Lesson at the YWCA Sun ‘N Fun at 6:00.
Sunday:
This Sunday you can Celebrate Selena’s birthday in two different ways. Tumbleweed and Sage Coffee House is hosting their Anything for Selena party from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. You can also check out the Selena Movie Party at Alamo Drafthouse.
