Last-Minute Plans: What to Do in Lubbock on January 6th & 7th, 2023
The weather is nice, the weekend is here, and it is time to check out what Lubbock has to offer.
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, but aren’t sure what, I’ve got you covered. This weekend has a few classic Lubbock events that I think everyone can enjoy.
The first event is happening tonight, and it is Lubbock’s classic First Friday Art Trail. This is an event that is fun for the whole family and is something you can do every month without getting bored. There are multiple Lubbock restaurants, galleries, and other businesses that host a variety of events you can attend. From the CASP studios to the Buddy Holly Center, there is so much to see.
If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, I highly suggest visiting the Wolfforth Farmer’s Market. It takes place every Saturday, all year-round, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are over 100 local vendors who sell everything from local produce, baked goods, pet products, handcrafted décor, and more. You can also bring your dog to walk around with you, and grab a bite to eat at one of the food vendors.
If neither of those events suit you, maybe the Lubbock Gun Exposition will. This gun and blade show is happening at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center this Saturday and Sunday. There will be a variety of vendors available to shop from after paying the admission fee. You can find more information on the official Facebook event page.
