Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: First Friday Art Trail, Legally Blonde, and More
You know what time it is... It’s time to make your plans for this weekend!
Here’s some of the things going on in Lubbock this weekend to give you an idea of what sort of plans you can make.
Starting on Friday and continuing through Sunday, the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center is hosting the TCL Cornhole event. There will be a variety of vendors and food trucks attending that you can check out during the cornhole tournament.
This Friday is also the first of the month, so you can attend the First Friday Art Trail. This is a great way to see what Lubbock’s art scene looks like and has to offer.
Of course, you can catch the weekend-long events this Saturday, but there are also some other events to check out.
The Wolfforth Farmers Market will be happening as usual. It is a great place to buy local produce, meet others in the community, and support small businesses. The weather should hopefully be nice this weekend so it’ll be enjoyable to walk around outside.
If you don’t feel like walking around and shopping, you can head over to the LHUCA Icehouse for the LSO: Spring Sound! Chamber. Or, you can attend the Sunday Garden Social at The Volunteer Garden. This is an event to help you learn more about gardening, keeping animals like chickens and rabbits, and more.
