Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas Hits the Hub in Time for Next Summer

Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas is pleased to announce plans to open its first Lubbock area. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lubbock will be located in the North Slide Square center at 5200 North Loop 289.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema combines food, drinks, films and events all under one roof. It is a unique combination of movie theater and restaurant, showing first-run features, family movies, independent films and specially programmed events with an extensive menu of drinks and made-from-scratch food available in every auditorium and at all shows. Servers attend to all customer needs quietly throughout the movie.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lubbock will also feature an adjacent stand-alone bar named Glass Half Full that will focus on quality, original and classic cocktails and a large selection of world-class draft and bottled beers. This bar and lounge space will offer patrons an inviting place to socialize whether they are waiting for a movie or just catching a drink with friends.
