60th Annual Carol Of Lights Set For Late November
Texas Tech has set Friday, November 30th for the 60th Annual Carol of Lights on the Texas Campus.
The event will begin at 6:30 pm and the Torch processional will take place at 7 pm with the Saddle Tramps, Raider Red, and the Masked Rider.
The Carol Concert will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Hemmle Recital Hall on the Campus. The concert is free and open to the public, and a sing-a-long will be part of the concert.
Parking information from Texas Tech:
Driving and parking on campus
- ADA parking will be provided in the R1 parking lot near the intersection of 15th Street and Detroit Avenue.
- Parking for the general public will be available in most faculty/staff “R” parking lots after 5:30 p.m. Please check signage when entering a lot.
- No guest parking will be permitted in residence hall “Z” parking lots. Ticketing will be enforced in these lots.
- Campus streets around Memorial Circle will experience some lane restrictions and street closures beginning at approximately 6 p.m.
