Oh you have to love the wild world of dating. Young or old the game never seems to change. Dinner, movie, live music, coffee or the occasional "creative date" that ends a total disaster. What do you need to know?

Match.com recently asked people about the best and worst places to go on a first date. Here are a few of the results both good and bad. Before you check them out what would your first date consist of? Now see where you fall on the list. Good or Bad.

Here are the five BEST ideas for a first date . . .

Getting coffee. 81% of people thinks it's a good way to go on the first date.
A walk in the park. 70% say it would make a good first date.
A local diner, 65%
Brunch, 62%
A concert, 45%.

And the five WORST places for a first date are . . .

Family functions. 81% of people would avoid bringing a first date to a family function. Which means 19% of people see nothing WRONG with bringing a first date to a family get-together?
A club. 34% would avoid it on a first date.
The movies, 31%.
A bar, 28%.
A sporting event, 24%.
