Woman Arrested For Bad April Fools Day Prank

This has to be the dumbest April Fools' Day prank EVER!! 54-year-old Angela Timmons of South Carolina, who works at a college in Spartanburg, pranked her 34-year-old daughter April by sending her a text saying there was a school shooting at the college and she was hiding for her safety.  After April couldn’t get a hold of her mother she called 911. The cops rushed to the school and found there was no shooting. Then they found out about the text and questioned Angela. Who told them she sent the text as an April Fools' joke, and according to the police report "that she had done such jokes on April Fools in the past."

Angela was arrested and is facing several charges, including aggravated breach of peace and disturbing a school. There's no word if the college has fired her yet.
