Anime Lubbock

If you are a big anime fan, this convention is a great event. You can spend just one day there or enjoy the whole weekend of events. From special guests, a variety of vendors, a cosplay contest, expert panels, and more, it will be an action-packed weekend.

It is hosted at the MCM Elegante Hotel from February 2nd through 4th, 2024. It is also unique because it is a hotel convention, so you can stay at the hotel all weekend to make sure you don’t miss out on anything.

Build-A-Bonsai

DIY and plant lovers alike will love this workshop hosted by Little Red riding Hood Nursery. All the tools and instructions you need will be provided to make your very own, unique bonsai. This is a great event to attend with friends and you get a gorgeous new plant to take home when you are done.

First Friday Art Trail

With this being the first weekend of February, the First Friday Art Trail will be in full swing. You can check out Lubbock’s thriving art district with your friends and family. Enjoy local art, food trucks, music, local vendors, and more. A full map of the art trail is available at lhuca.org/ffat.
