Want to see What it’s Like to be a Police Officer?

So here is something that might interest you. The Citizen’s Academy is being held for 12-weeks beginning on April 4^th. It is a joint venture of the Lubbock Sheriff’s Office, Lubbock Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

This program gives the average citizen an opportunity to see what law enforcement deals with on a regular basis. It will include policy and procedure, crime lab operations, criminal investigations and more.

Space is limited to 30 folks, so first come first served. You can get an application at www.lubbockcitizensacademy.com and you have until February 4^th to apply.
