DPS To Host Commercial Vehicle Training

Do you drive a commercial vehicle or are thinking about it?

The Texas Department of Public Safety will be hosting commercial vehicle training on Thursday, August 23rd from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Lubbock Fire Department's training center at 1515 Ursuline Ave.

The topic for this months training includes hazmat shipping papers.

DPS is providing this training to assist the trucking industry with voluntary compliance to reduce commercial vehicle violations and the number of commercial vehicle-related crashes. It is important to remember that most wrecks involving commercial motor vehicles are caused by passenger vehicles.
