University of North Texas Study Shows Nice Guys Actually Finish First
If you're a nice guy, chances are you've had your heart ripped out and stomped on by a woman because you're a nice guy. But do nice guys always finish last?
According to a University of North Texas study, the saying that "nice guys finish last" is a myth. The poll included 459 students, and the results (provided respondents were telling the truth) show that young men and women were actually more satisfied with partners that were more modest and respectful.
But beware, nice guys -- there is also another study that shows that nice guys actually do finish last when it comes to making more money in a profession.
This study shows that nice guys "...tend to earn less in the actual labor market" due in part to their desire to be liked, their focus on teamwork and the fact that they ask for raises less often.
