Thirty-year-old James Arthur Smiley II has ben arrested after police say that he attempted to run over another man following a confrontation in South Lubbock.

Lubbock Police responded to reports of a driver pointing a gun at another driver in what's being called a road rage incident.

The victim told police the suspect became furious, pulled out a gun, and shot once through her driver-side door.
