Ho! Ho! Ho! It’s T.I.! The Grammy-winning rhymer played Santa Claus and delivered a bevy of gifts to children at his former halfway house in Atlanta.

Tip visited the Dismas Charities, a facility where men and women are spending the end of their prison sentences before going home. Often times, they can’t spend time with their children during the holidays because they are serving out their remaining sentences.

T.I. himself once spent Christmas at the halfway house back in 2010 for violating his parole. The rapper couldn’t spend Christmas with his children so he knows how tough it could be for families during the holidays. Now he’s taking the time to give back.

“I know how it feels to not be able to spend Christmas with your kids, and maybe even for them, to be in the position to do as much for your children because of circumstances,” Tip told 11Alive News. “Everybody needs a little help sometimes, so I’m going to come and do what I can for those who need it the most."

This isn't T.I. first altruistic act in the ATL. On Thanksgiving, the Grand Hustle leader handed out 400 turkeys to residents. This past weekend he joined a pair of doctors to give gifts to patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

"I’m ecstatic to be in a position to give back," he says. “It was awesome to see so many smiles on so many children’s faces.”
