Support Lubbock’s Own with Night For Angels Benefit Dinner
If you are wanting to dust of your boots and dance the night away, you need to check out this awesome fundraiser. Alström Angels is a local Lubbock nonprofit that hosts a Night for Angels benefit dinner every year and it is back.
The 10th Annual Night for Angels Benefit Dinner at Four Bar K this year and will have live music by Jason Fellers, along with food and an auction. Each ticket costs $50 in advance for adults and $35 for youth. The tickets include dinner, beer and wine for those of age and an event t-shirt.
This nonprofit, and funds from this event, help a very rare genetic disease that affects children and causes complete blindness, deafness, type 2 diabetes, dilated cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, COPD, and kidney and liver failure. Alström Syndrome is a rare, hereditary genetic disorder. There have been just over 1,000 individuals diagnosed with Alström Syndrome in medical history. It's one of the most brutal diseases there is, as it touches every organ in the body. Most children are lost in their late teens and early 20s due to these medical complications.
