Lubbock's non-profit coffeehouse is no more.

Tuesday evening, TOVA Coffeehouse announced on social media that they would be closing their doors for good this week. As part of the closure, Sugar Brown's Coffee will take over the retail space that TOVA was operating out of at 6023 82nd Street (82nd & Iola Avenue).

The coffeehouse/coffee lounge business is a tough one in Lubbock, with local upstarts and wholesale sellers (for example, Daybreak Coffee and Sugar Brown's) battling national brands like Starbucks and Dunkin', in addition to restaurants and meeting spaces at the campuses of Texas Tech and Lubbock Christian University.

The owners of TOVA said on Facebook, "After an incredible journey, TOVA is officially handing over our keys to Sugar Brown’s Coffee this week. We are sad to see this chapter close, but are so thankful for the years of friendships, laughter, sorrow, prayer, homework, celebrations (including 2 engagements!), and caffeine shared around these tables. We sought to build a place that belonged to all of us, that everyone could call home in some small way. We are confident this atmosphere will continue with Sugar Brown’s, and we wish nothing but the best for them!"

The former TOVA Coffeehouse will become Sugar Brown's third brick-and-mortar location. Sugar Brown's other locations are 6303 Indiana Avenue and 1500 Broadway in the south lobby of McDougal Plaza.

Love the TV Show 'Friends'? This Texas House Could Be Your Dream Home!

Here's your chance to live just like Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe, and Ross!

This 'Friends'-themed townhouse in Houston was listed on Airbnb and just hit the real estate market. Diana Hu, an agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Houston, said this is the first time in 16 years that she's listed a home with a pop culture theme, according to the Today show.

The living room and kitchen will be familiar to 'Friends' fans as you will see from the real estate photos. At the top of the stairs, you’ll see a foosball table that looks a lot like the one in Joey and Chandler's apartment, surrounded by a comfy couch.

The three-story house also has a two-car garage with a Tesla charger. It's located at 1706 Bevis Street in Houston, and the asking price is $330,000.

Shall we take a look around, friends?
