If you are not in the place to adopt a pet, but you still want to show some love to the furry friends living in Lubbock shelters, there is an event coming up later in October that you do not want to miss.

Haven animal shelter is one of the great shelters in Lubbock, and they are hosting a special Halloween event on October 21 and 28 that is open to the public. It is a trick or treat event for the whole family that encourages costumes. The difference between this event and a standard trick or treat event is that this is a chance to give treats to the animals.

Every animal will have their own bucket where you can give them treats to enjoy this spooky season. There will also be candy for the humans to enjoy.
