Mixed martial arts cage fighting has gotten a lot more popular over the past few years. The sport has eclipsed Boxing drawing some of the largest Pay-for-View crowds in history. The rules are simple. Not Blows to the back of the head and no pulling of the hair or poking of the eyes. Everything else is pretty much up for grabs. Did you know that kiddos as young as six are allowed to compete?

The survival of the fittest paradigm at work. Is this a bad idea for kids to learn? The discipline and work ethic that MMA demands and teaches? Is that bad for kids? Just like anything, if used improperly MMA could hurt  and even kill outside the cage but in fairness a degree in chemistry could be used to cook meth so... CNN did a story on it the other day, and talked to the mother of an eight-year-old boy who's into it.
