‘Puppies On the Patio’ to Raise Funds for Area Animal Rescues

Puppies on the Patio sounds like my kind of afternoon/night! The Underdogs Project & West Crust Pizza are hosting the event to raise funds for Levelland Animal Friends and Animal Rescue of Crosby County.

These smaller towns around Lubbock have just as big of an animal control problem as Lubbock does, and it takes heroic efforts from these animal rescue groups to save as many dogs and cats as possible. Luckily, we can pitch in a little and get a lot in return!

The event will be held Thursday, July 27 from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Here's the perks, as per their Facebook Event Page:

-Swing by our West Loop location (116 W Loop 289) anytime on Thursday, July 27th and donate $5 or an item on their approved list then BUY ANY ONE PIZZA AND RECEIVE YOUR SECOND AT 1/2 PRICE!

-We'll have wading pools and plenty of water for your furry friends while you chow down on some awesome pizza with your less furry friends so BRING YOUR PUPPIES!

-Do you need a four legged friend? We've got you covered there too!Levelland Animal Friends will be there from 6pm-8:30pm with some really amazing dogs that could use a loving home.

-With your $5/item donation you will also receive a ticket to sample some ice cold craft beers and we'll have $3 house sangria to wash down those pizzas from 4pm-8pm! (MUST HAVE A VALID ID)

-Just in case that isn't enough for you, we'll be treating your ears to Ronnie Eaton who will be playing from 6pm-8pm and trust us, you don't want to miss out!

Ronnie Eaton is an amazing performer and I'm proud to say my friend as well! Great music, puppies, pizza and beer -- how could it possibly get an better than that. I hope to see you all there!
