Cool and rainy is the forecast for the weekend so a movie sounds like the deal to me. Whats new in theaters? How about a remake of the classic "Wizard of Oz"? Do we really need one? Is a land of Oz done in CGI better than the classic telling of a childhood classic? The answer is yes! This new version of "Oz" has some similarities to the original but this one is a must see. And my favorite Irish bad boy Collin Ferrell is back in theaters with the ultimate revenge flick "Dead Man Down". Let's take a look at some trailers.

"Oz the Great and Powerful" (PG)

It's a prequel to the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz", about a small town illusionist who's sucked into a tornado and transported to Oz, where he manages to convince everyone he's a powerful wizard.

James Franco plays the wizard, Michelle Williams is Glinda the Good Witch, and the other two witches are played by Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz. It's directed by "Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi. The Kansas scenes are all in black and white, just like in the original movie, and everything switches to color once he lands in Oz. And of course, what Oz movie would be complete without flying monkeys and a green-skinned wicked witch.

"Dead Man Down" (R)

Noomi Rapace from "Prometheus" and the original Swedish version of"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" blackmails Colin Farrell after she witnesses him killing a guy. But it turns out they both want revenge against Terrence Howard, who scarred up her face and killed Farrell's family. It's directed by the guy who did the Swedish "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo".
