Metallica Make Large Donation to South Plains Food Bank

Metallica rocked Lubbock in more ways than one.

I could go on and on about what a class organization Metallica is, but I guess this picture really says it all.

Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation dropped ten large ($10,000) on the good people at the South Plains Food Bank.

So why was the food bank selected? We were furnished this quote:

South Plains Food Bank – a humanitarian resource responsible for securing, growing, processing, and distributing food to charitable organizations and persons in need – was the recipient of the money raised by the Metallica show in Lubbock, Texas.

Now that sounds like a pretty good reason to me! Thanks guys, and can we do this again next year?
