‘Masks for Lubbock’ Will Hand Out 1,000 Free Masks to Lubbockites
Masks for Lubbock, a grassroots health initiative, is set to pass out 1,000 masks.
Five hundred of these masks, along with sanitizer, will be available on Thursday, April 23rd from 7 to 10 p.m at Big E's.
Big E's, or as Lubbockites call it ,"Ferlis's", is located at 1802 Buddy Holly. No purchase is necessary, why would you be next to Big E's and not buy something? It's a Lubbock tradition!
This is going to be a first come, first-served type of thing and there is high demand. That means it will be to everyone's benefit if y'all are calm, polite, and patient. And be sure to socially distance yourselves. Otherwise, what's the point?
If you'd like to donate money, time, or mad sewing skills to this awesome cause- be sure to follow Masks for Lubbock on Facebook. And a huge shout-out to Julio Gonzalez for spearheading this initiative. He's such a sweetie.
