‘Maleficent’ Crushes Competition Over The Weekend

“Maleficent”, starring Angelina Jolie in her first lead role in four years, topped this weekend’s box office with an estimated $70 million. Dropping last week’s No. 1, “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, down to second place with $36.5 million.  Unfortunately, the new Seth MacFarlane’s “A Million Ways to Die In the West” came in third with a disappointing $17 million.
