Lubbock’s Woody’s Brick Oven Pizza & Grill Is Opening Woody’s Popper House

Lubbock's Woody's Brick Oven Pizza and Grill on 34th Street is opening Woody's Popper House at 4416 50th Street on July 15th, 2020, according to their Facebook page.

This sounds like a very cool idea. But what's a 'Popper House'? Well, apparently, it's here to solve our emergency cravings for jalapeno poppers. It's a quick and easy drive-thru, set to feature four different poppers, salsa and soda. Their Facebook page features some mouthwatering samples wrapped in bacon, cooked on a wood smoker. Wow.

Their announcement is enough to make you want to get in line right away. Here's their invitation on Facebook:

Ok my favorite people in the world.
Lubbock folks.... this location will be ran kinda like a donut shop. Very fast drive thru and a very little dine in. Once we sell out for the day we will close for the day.
(But you can always get poppers from our 34th street location. That store is open till 10pm. But we do sell out there also.)
We will make a variety of poppers that morning and will start cooking them right before 11 am when we open.
The poppers will be cooked on a wood smoker. Yummmmmm
We will offer delivery from our own app.

We can't wait either, and it's just about a month away. We went by to see the new spot, and it looks like they will have some work to do to get it set up and going. But it's definitely set up for an easy drive-thru experience.
