Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 43 People Arrested October 31-November 1
The first Monday in November is here and it feels a bit strange due to the time change. I am one of those people that can not be bothered enough to change the time on his car radio and I will wait until next time change.
With the time change many people have made the comment that we need to get rid of it but recently I saw some misinformation on TikTok that this was the second to last 'Fall-back' we would be doing. That is completely incorrect. The person was referring to the Sunshine Protection Act which was approved by the Senate this year and would make daylight saving time permanent across the U.S..
This bill has not moved forward since the Senate and will likely have to be resubmitted and the process done all over again. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. While you get your weighted blanket and some warm potato soup to eat while you digest the fact that the Sunshine Protection Act will probably not happen I suggest you scroll further down through our lineup.
These 43 mugshots are of people who were arrested during the week of October 31st through November 6th and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. Everyone featured is innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with at least one felony, be it State Jail Felony, Third Degree Felony, Second Degree Felony, First Degree Felony, a Capital Felony or were arrested and held on a Fugitive Warrant or Detainer, a United States Marshall Remand, or Immigration Customs Enforcement Detainer.
