Lubbock’s Highly-Anticipated Low-Cost Spay-Neuter Clinic Delays Opening
P.E.T.S. Clinic of Lubbock, the spay-neuter clinic which was planning to open this month at 2207 34th Street, has announced an indefinite delay.
The group posted the following message on their website:
Due to Covid-19, P.E.T.S. Clinic of Lubbock opening has been delayed. We will be rescheduling all appointments once we have a new opening date which is yet to be determined. We encourage ALL pet owners and non-pet owners to comply with CDC regulations so that our community, our state and our nation can recover more quickly from this crisis.
P.E.T.S. is a non-profit animal welfare organization, with successful clinics in Amarillo, Wichita Falls and Graham. They work to assure needed spays and neuters are affordable. This is urgently needed to reduce euthanasia and to help the overcrowding at our shelters.
We are sad to see the delay in the opening of this much-needed clinic. You can visit their website for details about the clinic, the services they provide, and how to make a donation.
