Lubbock Will Celebrate the Red, White and Blue at Arts Festival
We are very excited about this year's theme for the Lubbock Arts Festival.
I just don't buy into that nonsense that one group of Americans is more patriotic than another. We're all under the same flag, and that red, white, and blue sure look good together. This is also the vibe for the upcoming Lubbock Arts Festival.
Past Lubbock Arts Festivals have featured everything from crayons to space as a theme. This year, the 44th Lubbock Arts Festival is looking to bring everyone together with "A Red, White & Blue Celebration." There will be a ton of art, displays, and photo ops featuring patriotic red, white, and blue themes.
The Lubbock Arts Festival also features dancers, musicians, and even a special performance by Marcia Ball (a must-see!). The team has also curated a portrait gallery of local veterans in what I expect will be one of the most popular exhibits.
Don't forget the Lubbock Arts Festival is all about bringing the art home, too. Kids will be able to participate in make and take stations, and many of the exhibitors on hand will be selling cool artwork from pottery to photography, painting, and more.
The Lubbock Arts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and Sunday, April 10th, 2022 from noon to 5 p.m. The Marcia Ball Concert will happen Saturday night at 7 p.m. All of these events will take place at the Lubbock Civic Center, courtesy of generous support from United Supermarkets.
