Lubbock Pride Fest 2024 Announces Official Date and Location

Not only is everyone in Lubbock, Texas excited for the summer to bring its warm weather, but many of us are also excited to celebrate Pride.

Every year, the LGBTQ community celebrates their love during Pride Month in June. You’ll find businesses filled with color, communities coming together, and fun events being hosted all around. While you can always celebrate your pride no matter the time of year, it is simply a special time that allows people to celebrate a little extra.

One of the biggest pride events that people look forward to is Lubbock Pride Fest. Most cities have their own version of Pride Festivals with a variety of vendors, parades, local organizations, and more. It is a very fun time.

When?

This year, Lubbock Pride Fest will be on June 22nd

Where?

It will take place in Lubbock’s Art District at the LHUCA Plaza (5th St and Ave J).

They just made this date and location announcement, so there isn’t much other information available yet. However, they will have vendor registration information available soon and there are volunteer sign-up options on the official LubbockPRIDE website.

I went to Pride Fest last year and it was a great time with a variety of vendors, performers, and many friendly faces. It was incredibly hot though, so keep that in mind if you plan to attend this summer. Definitely wear sunscreen, bring a rainbow fan, and celebrate with your community.
