The weekend is finally here in Lubbock, Texas, and I know we are all ready to have some fun. Not only has the weather been treating us very well over the past week, but Valentine’s is coming up, so this weekend is a great chance to get out and have some fun.

Whether you are looking to have a romantic evening with your significant other, or have some Galentine’s fun with your girlfriends, there are a variety of great options in Lubbock.

Ouran Host Club Café

Any anime lovers out there? LBKPopUps is hosting a special event this Friday and Saturday at the Gongcha on Slide (405 Slide Rd). It is an Ouran High School Host Club themes event where you can enjoy a calm café vibe, grab a delicious drink, experience photo-ops, and possibly win some prizes.

The event will be on Friday from 2-10 p.m. and Saturday from 2-6 p.m. Cosplay is encouraged but not required.

Love Bites at Nightmare on 19th Street

Who says haunted houses are only for Halloween? Lubbock’s iconic Nightmare on 19th Street is hosting their annual Valentine’s event where you can experience all four of their haunted attractions with your loved ones.

This event is one night only, February 10th, starting at 7:30 p.m. It is an evening to celebrate Valentine’s, broken hearts, and all things scary.
