Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Christmas Shopping & Carriage Rides
December is finally here and so is the weekend. If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend or want to get going on Christmas shopping, here are a few options around Lubbock.
Christmas on West 19th
If you are looking to get in the holiday spirit and do some shopping, this event is a great option. It is taking place December 1st and 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be food trucks, vendors, live music, activities for the kiddos, and a chance to meet The Grinch. It is happening at Wild West Vintage Décor on 19th Street.
Llano Christmas Market
Another option to get your holiday shopping done is at Llano Estacado Winery’s Christmas Market. It is happening on Saturday, December 2nd from noon to 5:00 p.m. and features a variety of artisan stalls with handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, mulled wine, and carolers.
Sip-n-Shop at the YWCA
The last shopping event on this list is the YWCA Sip-n-Shop happening this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Taking place at 6501 University Ave, there will 75+ vendors, 7 food trucks, a playground, pictures with Santa, and more.
Carriage rides at Kingsgate
If you aren’t wanting to shop, but still want to enjoy some holiday festivities, the Kingsgate Center is hosting carriage rides each weekend until Christmas Eve. This is a great option for the whole family to enjoy a chilly December evening. The hours of these events vary by day, so check out the official event page for more information.
