Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Candlelight at the Ranch & Holiday Shopping
We are heading into the second weekend of December, which means the holiday season is in full swing and Lubbock is full of great events to check out with your friends and family. If you are looking for what to do, maybe one of the following events will interest you.
45th Annual Candlelight at the Ranch
An iconic holiday event that has been happening in Lubbock for 45 years now, is Candlelight at the Ranch. This is held on December 8th and 9th, 2023 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the National Ranching Heritage Center.
There will be holiday scenes recreated in 15 of the historic buildings, and the paths will be lit by candles. There will also be live music, hot chocolate, kettle corn, caroling, and more.
Tynsel & Twyne Pop-up
If you are looking to do some holiday shopping at wrap your gifts all at the same place, this event is perfect for you. It will be hosted at the Vintage Township Hall on December 10th, 2023, starting at 11:00 a.m.
The Winter Market
Another great option for holiday shopping, YWCA of Lubbock is hosting an event with local artisan vendors, live music, and activities for the family. This is taking place on December 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Holiday Sip & Shop
Another great shopping option is the sip and shop event happening at English Newsom Cellars on Saturday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be wine, vendors, food, and more to enjoy at this festive event.
Krampus Market
Lastly, The Weird space is hosting their 2nd Saturday Market this weekend from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. there will be local artists, ‘creepmas ornaments’, and more for a spooky holiday shopping experience.
