Lubbock DJ Finds Her Lost Spirit of Halloween
In all honesty, I can’t remember the last time I went full blown costume for Halloween and really felt like a kid. It's been a long time, and after last night I had to ask myself, why?
I guess sometimes we get caught up in paying bills, raising families, jobs, and responsibilities that we just forget to enjoy life and have a little fun.
Well, last night, Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 I was reminded that we adults are allowed to let loose and have fun, too.
I attended the Llano Estacado Winery Trick-or-Tasting, and seriously had the time of my life. The costumes were AWESOME, and some of them were pretty genius. Check out the photo gallery above and see if you can guess what some of them are.
But my favorite part?
Being in room full of adults who put “adulting” and responsibilities aside for just a bit and reveled in feeling like kids again. Grown-ups from every walk of life with different beliefs, political views and backgrounds came together to celebrate Halloween and HAD. A. BLAST!
There was dancing and laughter, and "Joan Jett" even showed up and performed "I Love Rock and Roll," which the crowd seemed to love.
I hope we don't wait until next year to share the love and have some fun again. We should enjoy life every day.
Happy Halloween, y'all!
