Katy Perry Celebrates Voter Registration Day By ‘Voting Naked’ in Funny Or Die Video

Katy Perry's long been vocal about which presidential candidates she supports, and has fundraised for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the past (she's buddied up to former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, too). Now, on September 27's Voter Registration Day, the civic-minded "Firework" singer's partnered with Rock the Vote and Funny or Die to encourage you to vote...naked. Sort of.

"Hi. I'm Katy Perry!" chirps the pop star, as she rises out of bed at 10AM sharp (if you're getting "Last Friday Night" vibes from this video, that might be because that visual was a Funny or Die exclu as well). "You know, November 8th is Election Day, and I've got great news: This year, you can look like s--- when you vote."

"Yup, I've briefly scanned the Constitution, and nowhere does it say you can't roll out of bed, and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in. In the name of democracy, any out-of-bed look is A-ok!"  Perry offers some optional lewks: "Hunk in kids' briefs," "that XL t-shirt you got from the bank," "covered in slime," etc. (think of your poll workers and don't be covered in slime).

Katy quickly learns this lack of wardrobe rules doesn't apply if you sleep naked.
