
From Prayer to Pour: New Amarillo Coffee Shop Opens
There can never be too much coffee. That is a hill many people in Amarillo would die on. Coffee is life. Yes, we may have more coffee shops than we have coffee drinkers, but that still doesn't feel like enough. So when Amarillo gets a new coffee shop, we all rejoice.
What started as a prayer for one Amarillo resident has now been answered. La Chula Vida Coffee Co. has opened in Amarillo.
La Chula Vida Coffee Co Opens on Wolflin
Having a dream and making it a reality is a leap of faith. For the owners of La Chula Vida, that dream came true when they opened their doors at 3703 Wolflin Ave on February 16. Mornings are a bit different now. Those traveling along I-40, teachers and students heading to class at Tascosa, and really anyone in Amarillo have another coffee choice.

La Chula Vida Hours and After Hours Specials
La Chula Vida Coffee Co. will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 7 am to 11 am. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they will also offer After Hours from 4 pm to 8 pm, with happy hour from 5 pm to 6 pm. Check out their menu, and keep an eye out for their secret menu. They also feature special After Hours drinks, including the Espresso Ice Cream Float and the Sleepy Girl Mocktail.
La Chula Vida also offers a deal for students. Every morning, they have a $5 16-oz Vanilla Caramel Latte with their school ID. Those who visit after hours can get 2 drinks for $10. For groups coming in to study or meet, they offer a Study Table deal, 15% off for groups of 4 or more.
