Tomb Raider is out and on the advice of my boss I went and dropped $60 on it. I am not a big fan of Laura Croft and never have been. No in particular reason, I just never really got into this game as it has been around for years. I am more of a shoot them in the head kind of guy. Max Payne and Call of Duty 2 are some of my recent purchases. Needless to say I was a little concerned about buying this one versus renting it for a weekend but I figured the boss knew what he was talking about. He did indeed.

The action kicks off as Lara Croft is shipwrecked with a group of friends on an island in the South China Sea, while they were all on en route to archaeological dig. In short order Croft and her friends find they aren’t alone on the island, and are soon at the mercy of its current inhabitants – a group of cult-like castaways armed to the teeth with knives and guns.

Croft escapes her tormentors and sets out to radio for help. As she makes her way deeper into the island, she begins to uncover a terrifying secret and finds that the cult of maniacs she encountered earlier are the least of her worries. - t3.com

The characters are deep. The Gameplay is flawless and the Multiplayer will impress even those of you who are  hardened third person shooter freaks. This one has hours upon hours of action for you and can't be fully appreciated in just one weekend so save you change and grab this one.
