Gymboree to Close 350 Stores, Including South Plains Mall Location

The Gymboree Corporation, which operates more than 1,100 children's clothing stores, will shutter 350 Gymboree stores in 2017. That number includes the store in Lubbock's South Plains Mall.

USA Today reports that Gymboree would close 350 stores, which includes the South Plains Mall store and several others across Texas, as part of its bankruptcy restructuring. The company filed for bankruptcy in June.

These stores will begin their going-out-of-business sales next week.
