Ok, I admit I never understood the shoes on a power/phone line thing. Though there have been many explanations over the years, none seem to be a firm answer.

But lately, I have noticed more pairs of peoples funky underwear in parking lots, on the streets, etc. Why?

Why is this even a thing? Who just ditches their shorts in a parking lot? Did something bad happen? Did they not make it to a bathroom on time? Did they steal mine from the gym and now need to get rid of the evidence? (By the way, this has now happened twice, wth?)
