Fatal Car Wreck Near Putnam Kills Four From Lubbock

On Monday (April 9), a fatal crash east of Putnam killed four people from Lubbock.

Texas DPS reports the individuals were traveling west on I-20 in a pickup. Then, the pickup crossed the center median, crashing into a semi-truck traveling east. All occupants of the pickup were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene.

The victims have been identified as:

• 18-year-old Johnathan Patrick Pena
• 24-year-old Manuel Martinez
• 17-year-old Ruben Licon
• 19-year-old Treqweishium Kevondrick Williams

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
