After his debacle at the Ruff Ryders Reunion Tour in New York last weekend, DMX has canceled his solo tour due to an undisclosed medical issue.
According to TMZ, the rap veteran was supposed to perform on Tuesday (April 25) at Santa Ana, Calif., but the venue informed concertgoers that the show was canceled because of a “medical emergency.”
Insiders told the gossip website that X also postponed his Wednesday show (April 26) in Los Angeles and his Thursday gig (April 27) in San Diego, Calif. Friends of DMX are now concerned about his health.
Many fans were concerned about his health following his lackluster performance at Ruff Ryders Reunion at Brooklyn's Barclays Center last Friday (April 21). X was reportedly slurring his words and was extremely incoherent for most of his set. The rap veteran also delivered a couple of angry rants where he talked about his spirituality and the demons that continue to haunt him.
DMX has a very lengthy history of drug addiction, and friends reportedly fear that he may have relapsed.
