Did You Know this ‘Gossip Girl’ Actor Was Born in Lubbock, Texas?
One of the most iconic TV series for teen girls in the early 2000s was Gossip Girl. It’s legacy has even stuck around to today with a spinoff series being released and plenty of people still watching the original.
I was a little too young for the initial craze, so I started watching the show for the first time a few years ago. For whatever reason, I stopped watching after a couple of seasons and never went back to it. Until now.
I recently started watching it again and I am totally hooked. It can be a bit dramatic and cheesy at times, but that is what makes it so good. It gives you those early 2000s drama vibes that are hard to recreate.
Of course, all of the actors from the original Gossip Girl went on to do many other projects. Penn Badgley (Dan Humphrey) is now known for his role as Joe Goldberg in YOU. Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen) to do projects like The Age of Adaline and A Simple Favor. And Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) did many other projects including the new How I Met Your Mother spinoff, How I Met Your Father.
While watching the show last night, my partner recognized Chance Crawford (Nate Archibald) as a character from The Boys. Heading over to his IMDb, we found out a very interesting fact.
Chance Crawford was born in Lubbock, Texas.
Apparently, he was born in the Hub City, grew up in Plano, Texas, and eventually pursued modeling in Dallas before moving to California and eventually starting an acting career. He went on to star in Gossip Girl, The Boys, The Covenant, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, and more.
